The original kitchen partially demolished. It was bland and boring and begging for removal.
After demolition!! The sledgehammer was fun!
Floor where pennisula used to be had to be patched. Slow, arduous work.
Plumbing, electrical, drywall and gas line are in.
Cherry cabinets with a black glaze.
The backsplash is made of 5 huge pieces of painted glass! Thank you DGI!
The countertops are quartz--made of recycled glass and stone and virtually indestructible.
My wife picked out the cabinets, countertops, backsplash, door handles, sink and faucet. I picked out the appliances. Can you tell? :-)
The glaze gives the cabinets a chocolately look. Yum!
